Job Overview
The Customer Service Representative for DAX of Rockwall, a leading car auction company, serves as a crucial point of contact for customers, ensuring a seamless and positive experience throughout the auction process. This role requires multitasking in a fast-paced environment, excellent attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Support:
- Provide exceptional service by responding to inquiries regarding car listings, auction schedules, bidding processes, and payment procedures through phone or email.
- Assist customers in registering for auctions and navigating the online auction platform.
2. Problem Resolution:
- Address and resolve customer concerns such as bid discrepancies, auction
outcomes, or payment issues, ensuring prompt and professional solutions. - Collaborate with internal teams to handle complex issues effectively.
3. Auction Assistance:
- Guide customers through title transfers, and shipping or pickup arrangements.
- Support on-site operations during sale days, including bidder registration and managing customer inquiries.
4. Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate and organized records of customer interactions, transactions, and feedback using the company’s CRM system.
- Ensure compliance with auction terms, company policies, and legal requirements.
5. Customer Engagement:
- Build positive relationships with customers, encouraging repeat business and loyalty.
- Gather and share feedback to improve the auction experience.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate or bachelor’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: At least 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in the automotive or auction industry.
Skills:
- Bilingual (preferred but not required).
- Strong multitasking abilities to manage various customer needs in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Team player with strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Other Requirements:
- Availability to work evenings at least once a week for sale days.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Knowledge of automotive terminology and auction processes is a plus.
