Job Overview

The Customer Service Representative for DAX of Rockwall, a leading car auction company, serves as a crucial point of contact for customers, ensuring a seamless and positive experience throughout the auction process. This role requires multitasking in a fast-paced environment, excellent attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Support:

  • Provide exceptional service by responding to inquiries regarding car listings, auction schedules, bidding processes, and payment procedures through phone or email.
  • Assist customers in registering for auctions and navigating the online auction platform.

2. Problem Resolution:

  • Address and resolve customer concerns such as bid discrepancies, auction
    outcomes, or payment issues, ensuring prompt and professional solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to handle complex issues effectively.

3. Auction Assistance:

  • Guide customers through title transfers, and shipping or pickup arrangements.
  • Support on-site operations during sale days, including bidder registration and managing customer inquiries.

4. Administrative Duties:

  • Maintain accurate and organized records of customer interactions, transactions, and feedback using the company’s CRM system.
  • Ensure compliance with auction terms, company policies, and legal requirements.

5. Customer Engagement:

  • Build positive relationships with customers, encouraging repeat business and loyalty.
  • Gather and share feedback to improve the auction experience.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate or bachelor’s degree is a plus.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in the automotive or auction industry.

Skills:

  • Bilingual (preferred but not required).
  • Strong multitasking abilities to manage various customer needs in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Team player with strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Other Requirements:

  • Availability to work evenings at least once a week for sale days.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Knowledge of automotive terminology and auction processes is a plus.
